My feet are blue...

Someone, somewhere posted this method of doing a home pedicure: http://thebodiesofknowledge.com/?p=40

Sounded pretty interesting and I decided to give it a try. Now my feet and toenails are light blue.

It didn’t work either…

Did you use the original yellow Listerine or the blue one?

The article called for the original stuff which is amber-colored. I think HamsterFan used the blue stuff, yielding smurf feet.wink

I did it once, my feet didn't turn out blue and I used the blue stuff and warm water not vinegar.

Honestly I don't think that the pedi was any easier than using only warm water... My feet smelled really fresh though and DH got a kick out o f that.

I might try to do it with vinegar and maybe it'll be easier that way, my poor feet are ugly right now.

Haha : ) Richard - I was busy exfoliating and washing my feet and honestly didn't think of it.

Kina, you are right but the bottle with the blue stuff also said "original". In retrospect it's pretty funny : )

Every time I read this thread title I "hear" it in the stilted, British accent that I use when reading the part of "One Fish, Two Fish" with the guy whose hat is old, teeth are gold, shoe is off, feet are cold.

That is all. :)
