...sausage links and bread.  Anyone care to guess what else he'll come home with?

If he's like most normal guys... sausage links and bread.

He usually comes home with stuff he thought looked good. Usually chips, cheese, or both.

I was going to guess he would come home with one of the two items - and then some random stuff that was on sale. My dad has (weirdly) just recently discovered buy-1-get-1. For years (decades) my mom did 99% of the grocery shopping. He only went when he had a craving. But for some reason he's gotten more "into" grocery shopping in the last few years. His weird standards include:

- It was buy one get one - so I bought 8! (at least pickles don't go bad)
- It was really expensive, so I wanted to see what the fuss was about. (Bacon that's $8 a pound. It is good bacon.)
- I didn't know what it was. So I got some.
- It was sugar free. (He's diabetic.)

PM is really good about getting everything I ask for, but he is attracted to the bright, shiny packages of chips and sugar-free cookies. (Also a diabetic).
