I had a stressful morning and I'm going online shopping, since I'm going to be in the states next week I'm sending everything to my hotel.
Does someone use shopping as therapy? In my case I do it instead of eating, which I do when I'm stressed. This time I won't be buying as much as I would want, because we just got a new car and I'm making the payments so there's not much money to spend on non necessities. But clearly all the outfits I'm getting for LO are a necessity, this kid is growing! lol
Shopping is only "therapy" if it's on someone else's dime... otherwise I go into stress worrying about how I'm going to pay for what was bought... completely negating any therapeutic benefit of said shopping.
ETA: I meant to say - "For me, shopping is only..."

I checked that one and it's only sleep-n-plays, which she could totally use, however the biggest size they offer for those is 9m and she's 9m already so I was looking for more like 12m. I still have a full shopping cart with about $100 usd worth of clothes.
I still have to make an inventory of what she has in 12m size already to see what she'll need and then I'll do the check out. I also have a 25% friends and family coupon that I can use.
And about the dress, I just put the update in the original post. The store won't take my card. Sadness.
I really need to go through AB's current wardrobe. We have a ton of hand-me-downs from SIL3's sister and from my BFF's nephew, so I doubt we'll need to buy much (especially since his birthday is in two weeks). However, I need to make sure all the too-small stuff is pulled out. I put a pair of khakis on him today and didn't realize they're several inches too short. No wonder! They're 9m! They fit in the waist, though he needs somewhere between 12 and 18 months for the leg. My kid is long and skinny.
Oh, and make sure you Google Carter's coupon codes before you buy! I also have codes for Crazy8 and Gymboree if you want them.

Guess what?!?!
I found the exact same dress in Amazon!!!!
I stumbled onto it while I was looking for another option, I still have to finalize that, but my dad wants to get some more stuff from there and I want to wait to get everything in one order. And I'd love to have the coupon codes, thank you!
Just a week ago I was able to buy the wedding rings for my sister wedding just by shopping around and using coupons. If I lived in the States I'm sure I'd be a cuponmaniac lol.
I agree with that Richard, luckily I've been saving for this trip for a while and I have no worries spending the money. also I'm shopping for some stuff for my dad and that's also fun :)
And makes my credit card tremble, I like doing that to it.
I'm too cheap for theraputic shopping, but I will internet-window shop, fill my cart with stuff (usually yarn), then talk myself out of it. Close enough!

LOL That's what I do. Except sometimes I find a REALLY REALLY good deal and convince myself to buy it. Like the fabulous shirt I'm wearing right now. $5. Win.
