I finally acquired additional bookcases, so I am reorganizing everything. I don't like where I currently have the shelves, so once I decide where they'll go, I can start the process of alphabetizing.
I think I have over 200 books now, not including the random textbooks and childhood favorites left over from years past. My cookbooks aren't included in that count, either. (I think I have 30 of those). I think it's safe to say between my stuff, AB's library (he's closing in on 100), and all of PM's texts and theology resources, we have over 500 books in this house.
Thank God we have professional movers provided for us!

I am now in the process of making sure all my books are entered into my Goodreads account so I will have an accurate list of what I own. I like to use the ISBN method so I know the exact edition, but I just flipped over an old paperback and there isn't one! I didn't realize I had the original paperback from 1978.

I tried going through books one time with the plan to donate a lot of them - early on started reading one, got hooked, and spent the weekend finishing it, instead. I do need to buy some more bookcases - I've got at least a bookcase-full in boxes from the last couple of library sales. I really need to quit volunteering at them!
