DH is FINALLY working on the snow blower. I got the parts he wanted on Tuesday. After he waited three weeks. Granted it was only three days since the neighbor told us where to get the parts, but still. Snow blower has not worked at all this season. We are supposed to get 6-10 tonight into tomorrow.

We've been downgraded to either 1-3 inches or 3-6 inches. All depends on what channel's weather you watch.

Snow blower is still not fully operations but DH is hopeful that it will stop stalling out when we run it next.

we went from 8-12 to 5-8....for now. but it changes constantly.

Federal Government has already announced that it will be closed tomorrow.

The "nasty crap" (snow) is supposed to get here "around noon-ish". They went ahead and closed the schools... "just in case". I do like that about our county's school board. They'd rather close and it be a false alarm than NOT close and risk what happened to Atlanta earlier this year.

not sure what our final total was...on the deck it's about 10 inches deep, but that is due to drifting, since the winds were from the North, and the deck is on the north side of the house. it was swirling like crazy out there today on the deck!

the hubs says that he thinks we got about 5 inches. at least we didn't get the inch or so of ice and sleet last night!

and here we go again. the forecast is for 3-5 inches of snow tomorrow night, and an additional inch on Monday. yeah. again. *sigh*

it was nearly 70 degrees here today. and now snow again tomorrow night.

anybody else looking at more white stuff this week?

They're calling for 3 - 6 inches south of us. I hope it stays south and doesn't come north! We were supposed to get 3 inches last week that turned out to only be a dusting, so I'm praying we're lucky again!

Our forecast is for Monday is "rain turning to snow, snow for about 3 hours, then back to rain".

Yes! The number of potholes is insane! Our township roads were not so great to begin with. There's a terrible outbreak of highway acne!

Our forecast continues to ease up. Yesterday we were 90% snow likely. We're down to 40% chance of snow and only 1/2-1" if we get it. I can handle it!

Yay! They "upgraded" us to all rain (no snow)!

ETA: Now... let's hope their CURRENT prediction for us holds true!

i think i'm going to stop checking the forecast. now it's 5 - 8 inches overnight, 1 - 3 inches tomorrow. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!

oh well, at least it will fill in the potholes that you all are talking about, which we also have....

well, now I know when not to vacation in DC. If we have the extreme summer to counteract the extreme winter, I'm going to die. I hate the heat.

Yay! Are we already on to complaining about summer weather? I'm in!

I hide away as much as I can to get through summer. I thank and bless my husband during the worst of the heat for insisting we install central air some 25 years ago! Reminds me I need to be on the lookout for a new-to-us dehumidifier at the auction since our old one gave up the ghost last year. The basement NEEDS it.

I was trying to put up my Outdoor easter decorations today. I hang a thousand freaking eggs in the trees in our front yard. But it was sooo cold out there like in the 40s with the wind blowing I was like "Forget this". I am going to have to wait till the sun comes out and it warms up to do that.

We had a total winter wonderland yesterday morning and it was almost 50 degrees yesterday afternoon! I went to visit my grandfather and while we were watching the noon news, the weatherman said the high was supposed to be fifty. My grandfather said, "Fifty?! It's snowing out there you idjit!" It almost made it, though!
