We will be on a working trip to our monthly market days so nothing fun and exciting but we probably wouldn't do anything if we were at home either. I almost find it silly to celebrate it especially in our first year of marriage, isn't it a given how much we love each other since we just chose to marry each other?
I think it's even more special to celebrate your first VDay as a married couple!
We have 2 options right now: get take out from our favorite Chinese place or that DH cooks a couple of steaks I'll do some yummy sides, some wine and a dessert that we both love.
That's going to be hard because I love chocolate and he doesn't like it very much, and he loves tres leches cake and I hate it lol.
Maybe some fruity dessert!
Oh and this all be done at home, I don't like going out to an actual restaurant, it's always crowded AND overpriced, no thank you!
Sister is getting divorced and I'm single. She was upset about VD, so I invited her to join me in my yearly tradition - I go watch some kind of shoot-em-up movie. So we're going to see Monuments Men and then we'll grill steaks.
Nothing here except for the kids. DH and I had our anniversary last week a week before Valentine's day. So we were supposed to celebrate then but he injured his back and so we did not do anything. :(
The kids have a party at school and I am bringing stuff for that and getting their Valentine boxes ready and Valentines ready.
My husband & I met the day before Valentine's day, but we don't really celebrate the holiday as it's evolved. We'll do cards and maybe a token silly gift. I make the kids' milk pink and may bake some cookies or something for them.
Probably nothing - I have 2 appointments Friday that are about 5 hours apart and not close to home, so we can't do lunch. We sure as heck aren't taking AB out on a Friday "holiday" evening, even if it is to a casual dining place.

He was exercising and tried a new pilates exercise and over did it. He has been doing lots of crunches and push ups and chin ups type exercises but never pilates and I guess it worked different muscles and he was sore as heck for days and could not move!
We're going to try to go out, but I still haven't lined up a babysitter. IDK where we're going to go or what we're going to do. DS has an appointment late that afternoon. We'll see.

DH is buying me a rose every day of February.
O.k. ... your DH wins the "Most Romantic Dude" prize...

My boss bought two dozen roses this morning. One set is for his wife. He passed out the other dozen at work to everybody except the one guy he supervises.
He also had two boxes of Sharies Berries delivered. Again one for his wife and the other box for us.
At lunch time I saw the strawberry box in the fridge with two left in it. When boss returned the box was empty and he stomped back to my desk to see if I knew who ate them. He was of the opinion that after he finished passing them out, the last ones were off limits. He then went around the building grilling people, but no one knew anything about it.
