I woke up to everything being coated in ice. Not a happy sight! I don't know if I've totally acclimated to warmer weather or if this has really been an awful winter here, I'm voting for the latter.
Colder than yours and annoying. We still have ice thawing from last night's storm, power going in and out, tree limbs breaking. The rain and cold are putting a real damper on my ability to do stone work right now so I am annoyed.
It's snowing. And under the 2 inches of fluffy white stuff in our parking lot is an ice rink. It was a 'stand on both feet getting out of the car, do the penguin walk across the lot' adventure this morning.
oh winds, reading that I can only think that I would have probably wanted to crawl instead of walk on that. All slippery surfaces give me anxiety since I broke my leg. Heck, sidewalk edges give me anxiety so if there is a way to combine the two, oh no.
It's still snowing. Sometime today I need to go to the plant across the street - not looking forward to it. By the time I get on my boots, coat, hat and gloves, I feel like a little kid. But since they do a poor job of plowing the parking lots, and the street is not always plowed, boots are a must.
Our temps are at least getting above zero during the day. At least we don't have all that ice and snow (I mean, we have snow, but no new accumulation), and power outages.
43 this morning on my way to work at 6:30AM and chance of rain, but up to 58 by this afternoon and by Sunday the firecast has changed to 65! I may just have to get Lola (my bike in my avatar) out and go for a spin
one not so good thing about all this warm is the MUD, not so much at my house, lots of grass, but at work, MUD bogs everywhere~
