I haven't seen Dallas this whole season. I wish I had seen this earlier because I would have switched over The Voice sooner. I really do like The Voice and I never got into American Idol.
I know, that was stacked against anyone but Blake. I guess I haven't ever seen all of the tryouts because I did not know that. I do see where Adam could have helped though, take them out of a comfort zone.
these two have been in top form all night, picking at each other.
i LOVE The Voice with Usher and Shakira. can take or leave Christina, and i cannot stand CeeLo.
Blake and Usher mesh well together, it seems to me. and when Blake and Shakira tease each other, it's in fun. with Blake and Christina, there seems to be a subtext of meanness.
oh, and tonight was only the second episode of this season's Dallas. if i'm already having to decide if i'm going to watch it, pretty sure i'm done with Dallas for the season....
I like these four together. I agree about Christina and CeeLo. These four have a good thing going IMO
I guess I should say that I probably missed last season. The last Dallas that I watched was on Netflix and that was a year ago so I am probably a season behind.
He just seemed into it. I get why Shakira turned for her. She does have a different sound. I was honestly expecting more and maybe a different song would have done it. All of her talk about how high her range is, I expected to hear more of it.
I only watched one blind audition show this time around. I find myself feeling bad for the ones who don't get any chairs turned, so decided I'll wait for the competitions. I miss a lot of good shows because I don't start watching from the first show, and wouldn't know the background to not be lost watching them. By the time my kids tell me something is 'so good!' the season is over - what is with the 'half season' and 'a year between seasons' shows these days, anyways?
I miss the good old days of shows running September to May, when you knew there'd be reruns or pre-emptions during the World Series, December, and March. Half the time, now, if I remember to watch a show, it's the one episode I didn't miss this season. (I also miss SoapNet :( )
I watched Lost only because it was a standing thing with Froot. I doubt I would ever do a series like that again because while it was interesting, I have a hard time focusing on just it.

this? right here? the bolded? is one of my BIGGEST gripes about television these days. i can't keep up with when a season starts or ends. which is why most of my tv viewing these days is Food Network or HGTV...there's never a plot to follow.
ah well, it's almost baseball season. once that starts, i'll be watching MASN or MASN2 most of the time anyway, and won't care what show starts or stops when....
