Our insurance changed this year, so we have to pay $1500 OOP up front. Thankfully, we had enough notice and was able to put the money away. PM refilled his insulin prescription this morning, so I transferred the money for it out of our savings. When I picked it up, it was only $38! We've met our deductible and because AB has cerebral palsy, his secondary insurance plan covered the rest of our deductible!
I can put the $650 back in our savings account!

Well, my happy dance was short-lived. The money is now going for car repairs. My poor Focus died en route to lunch the other day. Thank God I was almost there and was able to drift into a parking space at the golf course!
