I just watched "The Book Thief". It is a good movie but really really depressing. Probably one of the saddest movies I have ever seen next to "The Orphanage".  I mean it is about WW2 so I knew it would probably be sad but damn, it took the cake. 

 

Spoilers ahead

 

 

 

I really liked seeing the story being told from the point of view of Germans. It was an interesting take on WW2. I have seen it told from the point of view of Jews and Americans man times and British but never Germans like that before.

I read the book last year and I really liked it, even if was depressing as hell. Not sure I want to watch the movie.
