We do, and generally we camp every weekend from late May to late September, sometimes til late October.
I love getting away from town and just enjoying the fresh air and relaxing around a fire. We also take our MC's and ride to check out new areas. We sometimes take the boat if the kids are going to be able to get time off work and join us.
I stocked the camper this last weekend, so we are planning a trip this upcoming weekend~ I am excited.

Well now that depends lol. I do not like camping here in Texas, it is just weird mainly because you pretty much can't have a campfire and it's too hot in the summer. Michigan camping hell yes! Those are some of my favorite memories. Friends are doing a big camping and canoeing weekend in celebration of summer birthdays (we all turn 49 this summer) and I'm hoping so much that I can make it up there. However then I remember past years with all those drunken yahoos I call friends lmao.
The last time I was camping, there were four of us in a tent at a crowded fishing park. When the other woman started snoring too, I gave up and went to sleep in the car. Going in a camper might make it more enjoyable. I'd camp again if DH and his son or friends wanted to, but its not something I'd come up with on my own.
I think someone asked this before here not that long ago. We only do tent camping. I do enjoy it some but then it is also a crap ton of work on the other hand. I like being out in nature and the camaraderie of it and the spending time with family and making memories. I loved it as a kid. But now that I am the adult and all the work is on me to do all the packing and stocking and repacking and unpacking and keeping up with everything and walking the kids back and forth to the bathroom and then washing all the bedding and clothes when we get back. I am not as big of a fan haha.
So we have not been in over a year. We will do it again someday but not any trips planned. We normally camp at campgrounds with no electricity or water so we have to do without that. They have communal bathrooms with toilets and sinks but no showers we are all plenty stinky the whole time. The kids do enjoy sitting around the campfire and riding bikes and going on nature walks and cooking out etc.
I used to LOVE camping as a kid, and I still would love to camp (if time and funds allowed).
But I'm not talking about "Let's go to the K.O.A.!". I mean real, in the woods, no bathrooms, no electricity, roughing it, completely surrounded by woods, no one to complain if someone comes out of the tent nekked... camping!

We camped as a kid, and my ex and I camped before we had kids. I'd love to go camping again, but there don't seem to be a lot of places that have much room for tent camping. I'd have to brush up on my fire building skills, though.
I used to go camping a lot. It seems that I can't handle the heat as I used to, probably need to lose some weight to improve that. I would love to go camping again, haven't been in probably 7 years. DH and his friends usually go every fall. This past fall they were supposed to go during our wedding trip but it got cancelled. Hopefully we will get a chance to go this coming year.
No, I don't. The last time I was camping was as a teenager and it was the worst week of my teen existence. I like a campfire and sitting around it talking to friends or being at a lake during the day and being with friends but when it comes time for bed, I'm getting in my car and heading the nearest motel with free WiFi.

I love camping, we did quite a lot of before we got married and before we had kids. It was very fun, but those were the days when we got drunk and just hang out in front of the fire.
Once LO grows up a little I'd love to take her camping :D
We are going camping in the mountains around Buffalo, WY this weekend with friends, there are lots of creeks and streams and lakes up there and so we will find one in the trees and enjoy!
If anyone watches the TV show Longmire, this is the town that fictitious town Durant is supposed to be. It is a pretty little town at the base of the Big Horn Mountains about 70 miles from my town.
Looking forward to taking puppies and just relaxing with friends and listening to the water bubble by

LOL us too. We used to in college go out to my mom's country property in the woods and set up tents and get a fire going and spend all night sitting around drinking and eating and cutting up.

If the truth be told, I really prefer spending the night at places that come with indoor plumbing - not outhouses or port a potties. Electricity and WiFi are great, but bathrooms rock!
Yeah I think I might be a fan of glamping. I like being in a tent and being in nature and campfires and all that, but a good bathroom and running water and electricity would be nice too. I have never rented a cabin for camping but I want to one day.
I like camping but , I like camp sites with electric so I can watch DVD's. Love outdoor movies....Especially the Friday the 13th flicks! I want to go sometime in September maybe. There's a, place where I can get a small cabin or tent it right by the beach access. I also love cooking outside. I want to try a seafood boil camping!

ooooh that would be scary watching Friday the 13th while out in the woods!
Riding we will have to compare notes! I might do a boil on my grill for 4th of July.....well a mini one....Will be a week out from hAnd surgery #2....but I saw Trisha Yearwoods Steele magnolia's boil with potatoes, sausage, onions, corn Cajun spice and enormous shrimp. Maybe e . I could add mussels and a lobster tail....yummmm. And beer! And the movie campfire tales just for you BA:)
Mary that sounds delicious and yes lets talk about delicious food....and with summer there are so many fresh veggies etc. My garden is doing really well.
