My favorite is anything with chocolate and chunks of stuff like brownies, nuts or more chocolate. Maple walnut sounds good. Breyer's makes a pretty good peach ice cream too, Richard.
Love ice cream. Especially in the winter, which is weird. My favorite breakfast might be apple pie with vanilla ice cream. Currently I am very into Haagen Daz chocolate peanut butter. And those Magnum bars are awesome! Plus Magnum makes some mini bars, so I can easily fit one into my calories for the day, with a little planning.
I like Mayfield banana split, b/c it has the highest toppings-to-icecream ratio. Mint chocolate chip - but it has to be green. Haagen Daz in general is probably my favorite brand. I love their strawberry, Bailey's Irish Cream, and Cherry Ameratto (gelato).
This thread makes me want to put my ice cream maker tub back in the freezer. Sadly the watermelon sorbet I made a couple of weeks ago was not popular and is still waiting to be finished.
I can't stand ice cream with peanut butter. Someone, somewhere mentioned ice cream with chocolate covered potato chips - I've been looking for it ever since. No luck so far : (
Richard's machine looks like it is nicer than mine, but it is also a Cuisinart. They are handy if you have your tub ready all the time. So what was the weirdest ice cream you ever had or made? I've seen a bunch of dairy free, gluten free, fat free recipes, but most of them don't sound very good. I made avocado ice cream once and it sounded way better than it actually tasted.
