AB and I went with my BFF and Goddaughter to the National Aviary in Pittsburgh.  melonbird (a Peep) works there, so we got to pet one of the South African penguins!  My Goddaughter is currently obsessed with all things that fly, from birds to planes, so she was in Heaven!  AB is a fish guy, but he giggled as we stroked the penguin's back.  He had been sunning himself on a rock, so his feathers were so soft and dry.  I am uploading pictures and will share.

My DIL is enthralled by penguins, too. Sounds like an awesome time. I;m looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Penguins are awesome. That sounds like an incredible fun thing to get to do. Can't wait for the pictures!
