Invisapeeps 2.0

I saw on Peeps where someone was looking for a movie reference on this thread Anyone know what this movie is?

The description is:

When I was a teenager I remember seeing a movie in which, in one scene, the protagonist walks into her house to find that her significant other had filled her living room with roses.

That sounds like the scene in "Days of Thunder" @~54:30 into the movie... where Nicole Kidman's character (Dr. Claire Lewicki) walks into her apartment to find that Tom Cruise's character (Cole Trickle) had made arrangements to have the apartment filled with flowers. Not all roses, but there were some there.

"Days of Thunder" came out in 1990 so it predates "American Beauty" (released in 1999) which was later in the thread mentioned as being seen much later than this movie that's being looked for.
