What's everyone doing this summer?

Vacation? Staycation? Something else?

I went on a two-week trip to Europe that turned out to be mostly stressful. Now I'm just working like a mad person at my new job. Are you having a better time than I am? : )

we are going to Cheyenne Frontier Days next week for a week, and we camp every weekend, sometimes in the mountains and sometimes at the lake with our boat. And lots of other outside things. Our greenhouse is up and doing great. We live out in the country so always something to do

I'm hitting the ballpark a lot (minor league team, and in the playoffs, yay!). I've been to Dayton, Iowa and near Chicago for away games. Plus working a lot, and waiting for my second grandson to be born.

And whining big time about the heat - darn old house with no air. :(

Your summer sounds fantastic, Riding. I miss camping.

back at work after 6 days gone.... I need another day

this upcoming weekend, us, daughter SIL the baby and 2 of their friends are going to the lake and boating! then next we will go up to Buffalo WY and camp and ride in the Big Horns

Summer is just going way tooo fast

I agree with summer going fast. I wish it wasn't so ridiculously hot, though. I;m headed to the ballgame with my grandson this afternoon and I hope he goes for the splash pad instead of the bouncy houses.

We had a huge thunderstorm with hail and a micro burst last night, knocked a motor home and a fifth wheel over on the interstate, sheds blown apart, campers blown into homes and roofs blown off! houses flooded.

We just got the beating rain and hail, and wind, but nothing like some experienced, Mother Nature was mighty angry!
