I never really got into the Olympics... Just not that interested. Maybe it's the 4 year break between "seasons", and that there's usually almost all new athletes?

I haven't watched that much so far either except Michael Phelps and he's been around for a while : )

That's true, SOME do. But how often do several different countries have the same athletes in the same contest? It's not like other sports where it will be many of the same players against many of the same other players. I just can't get excited about new confrontations every year.

When the Titans play the Panthers this year, it will be mostly the same players as last year, and next year will be mostly the same players as this year, and so on and so forth. The Olympics doesn't have that same sort of continuity.
