Just wanted to pass on word for anyone that is a member of another board that's on "Zetaboards" (Peeps... that includes you!) and is wondering why they can't get on the Zetaboard hosted board... their server farm (the place with all the hard drives that hold all the posts and stuff) had a major crash this morning. They've fixed the problem and are recovering the database:
Here's the relevant to "average/general users" part of the most recent post on the Admins Only support portal:
At this point we have repaired the hardware and are working on restoring both the software and the database. Thanks to a variety of our backup protection measures we currently do not believe there will be data lost. However the process of rebuilding the server and database is unfortunately a slow one. It has forced us to keep communities offline while the work is being completed.
No Estimated Time of Completion on when it will be fixed and back up and running yet. Hopefully soon.

Remembering how panicked people got on the other board when it was down for an hour, there's probably a lot of desperate posters twitching uncontrollably now. and/or drinking.
Recent update from the Support Forum... The final step continues to run smoothly. The current completion estimate is around 10AM (Eastern Time). Posted: Today, 4:49 AM.

looks like only one server is still down - must be the one Richard's and old-MM's boards are on. That's gotta suck for anyone depending on the saved recipes for their Thanksgiving desserts.
If you know your username and password from the Invisipeeps activeboard days, you can access that recipe thread still. The board is still there but it's just the permanent threads.
I don't think much was added to the recipe thread over on the zetaboard site after I copied and pasted all of the recipes from the activeboard thread to there. If it's gone when the board comes back, I could do it again and then ask the mods to move the thread to the stickies section.
